What if you could donate a penny to JA just for doing an internet search? What if you could donate a percentage of your purchase price every time you shop online, at no cost whatsoever to you?

You can! Junior Achievement of Michiana is registered with GoodSearch (a major search engine powered by Yahoo) and GoodShop (with links to hundreds of online stores). All you have to do is visit the GoodSearch/Goodshop sites, choose Junior Achievement of Michiana as the organization you wish to recieve the donation, and click "verify." Most people only have to choose the organization on the first search or shopping trip; after that, it will come up automatically when you return to the site.

In this tough economic climate, these choices enable you to support JA's economic literacy programs at no cost to yourself, just by doing something you would anyway!

Though we always urge visitors to support their local economies by buying from merchants in their own areas, if you are going to shop online anyway, we'd appreciate it if you check out the list of online stores participating in GoodShop -- which include Ebay, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble.com, Target, Staples, Travelocity, and about 500 more!

How To GoodSearch/GoodShop:

Just click on the link or type in www.goodsearch.com or www.goodshop.com any time you want to search or shop.
Type Junior Achievement of Michiana in the "Who do you GoodSearch for" box (or choose us from the dropdown menu).
Click on "verify," and you're good to go -- if your computer enables cookies, your choice of charity should automatically come up every time you return to the GoodSearch / GoodShop site.
You do NOT have to use the link on our website every time you want to GoodSearch or GoodShop! Just make sure our name appears in this box.
To shop at any of the 500 stores in the GoodShop program, click on the GoodShop link on the GoodSearch page or type in www.goodshop.com and go there directly.
Be sure that Junior Achievement of Michiana appears in the "Who do you GoodShop For" box -- if not, type it in or select from the dropdown menu and click "verify."
There are several different ways to browse the available stores and select where you wish to shop. The large icons are only a few of the most popular stores available! In the link bar at the left, you can type in a store name, choose a category, or view the entire store list!
Choose, click on the link and you will be directed to that store. JA of Michiana will get a percentage of whatever you spend on that visit!
