VISITING WHIRLPOOL

By Mr. Heppler's 2nd Grade Class

The Whirlpool sign

On Friday, April 11, Mr. Heppler's class took a bus to Whirlpool. We were excited! We went because it was the end of our Junior Achievement experience. Ms. Hales, our JA consultant, invited us.

Ms. Hales welcomes us to Whirlpool.

We got our nametags and a piece of candy and sat down in the lobby.

The mail carrying robot at Whirlpool

We visited the mail room with Mr. Hetfield and he showed us Moses, the robot mail carrier.

The Kitchen Aid kitchen

Mr. Brown showed us the Kitchen Aid dishwasher and the Kitchen Aid kitchen.

Ms. Hales gave us all certificates.

We had Sweet-O donut holes and juice, and watched a video. We all got our certificates and we were proud that we completed our Junior Achievement experience. Ms. Hales gave us a bag with candy, a triangle highlighter, and a flashlight.

The trip was fun. Thank you, Ms. Hales, for teaching us about our community, and for letting us go to Whirlpool!
